Terms of Service
Payroll Quest is a small browser game made and run by Payroll Quest ("we", "us"). By creating an account or buying something in the game, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.
Your account
You need to be at least 13 years old to play. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens on your account. One person, one account is fine; botting, exploiting bugs on purpose, or harassing other players can get an account suspended or removed.
Purchases
On the web version at payrollquest.com you can buy optional digital items, for example a 30-day pass that boosts offline earnings, or extra warehouse slots. These are licences to use a feature inside the game. They have no cash value, can't be transferred or sold, and can't be exchanged for in-game currency.
Items are delivered to your game account right after the payment goes through, usually within a few seconds. If something you paid for doesn't show up, write to [email protected] and we will sort it out.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout, including any tax that applies where you live. The 30-day pass does not renew by itself; you buy it again if you want more time.
Immediate delivery and withdrawal
Because items are digital and delivered immediately, at checkout you are asked to confirm: "I consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that I lose my right of withdrawal once delivery has started." If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, this is what lets us deliver straight away. We still offer refunds on unused items, see the Refund Policy.
The game changes
Payroll Quest is still being built. We may change, rebalance, or remove features, and the game may be down for maintenance now and then. If we ever shut the game down for good, we will say so in the game at least 30 days ahead and stop selling items at that point.
Content
The game, its art, text and code belong to us. Names you pick and messages you write must not be offensive or break the law; we may rename or remove them.
Liability
The game is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will be error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived by law.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell you in the game.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without taking away any protection given to you by the laws of the country where you live.
